Job Overview

We are looking for a licensed Veterinarian (DVM/VMD) to provide preventive, diagnostic, and medical care for companion animals. The successful candidate will perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, educate pet owners, and promote preventive healthcare.

Our ideal veterinarian combines strong clinical knowledge with excellent communication skills and a genuine love for animals.


Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations for dogs, cats, and other companion animals.
  • Diagnose illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
  • Develop personalized treatment and wellness plans.
  • Administer vaccinations and preventive care.
  • Perform routine surgical procedures, including spay and neuter surgeries.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment progress.
  • Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and diagnostic tests.
  • Educate pet owners on nutrition, behavior, preventive healthcare, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary medical standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Active veterinary license in the applicable state or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience in companion animal medicine preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client education abilities.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to veterinary care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
