Canine Care Specialist – job post

Hours 6am-11:30am or 6am-2pm Will include Saturdays and Sundays Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care and support to animals in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal welfare, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle various tasks related to pet care. As a Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our animals while also providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities – Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. – Maintain cleanliness and organization of animal enclosures and common areas. – Engage with clients to provide updates on their pets’ well-being and address any concerns. – Perform heavy lifting when necessary, including moving animals or supplies. – Participate in training sessions for dog handling and behavior management. Requirements – Previous experience in pet care, veterinary assistance, or related fields is preferred. – Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. – Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. – A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being. – Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
